PetroquímicaSuape and Senai held on February 22, the inaugural class of Professional Training Course in textile processes, which will be carried out at the SENAI Paulista unit, attended by 40 Textile Process Operators and 20 Textile Production Auxiliaries.

 
This is the first class of about 800 students who will be trained later this year to operate the unit of polyester yarn, which is under construction in Suape Complex.
 
Course participants have passed the public selection process conducted by the Company. A fact to note is that of the 60 classified, 59 are from Pernambuco state. This reflects the effort of PetroquímicaSuape to create job opportunities for local people, with the Tendering only in Recife. Even considering the need for prior experience in petrochemical plants and textile units for some functions, the 130 people hired, 108 are from the state.

 
The course for operators will last 45 days, while for the auxiliaries, it will last a month, with lectures and practice on textile processing. In the training period are also foreseen other activities, such as visits to industries in this segment.
