PetroquímicaSuape enable operators campus IFPE

The 46 professionals approved in the first public selection for Junior Operator in PetroquímicaSuape will undergo a training course, which will be held on the campus of Ipojuca of the IFPE, former Cefet. The inaugural lecture took place last Monday (November 9), 14.30.
 
This is the first training course to be held by IFPE, hired by one of the anchor enterprises that are being installed in Suape. PetroquímicaSuape decided to conduct the training course at the Ipojuca Campus by reference in quality of education that the institution has and as a way of valuing a teaching unit that was built in the region to meet the demands of industry personnel Suape Complex.

The course will last approximately four months, with both classroom and on chemical processes carried out from Monday to Saturday for eight hours. Other activities such as visits to industries and companies in the chemical segment, during the training period, are also planned.

Of the 46 operators in competition, 12 are from the campus of IFPE in Ipojuca. These professionals will work in operating activities of the PTA plant, one of the three industrial units PetroquímicaSuape is builting in Suape.
 
The completion of the course in Pernambuco also consolidates the commitment of PetroquímicaSuape to prioritize the local workforce and stimulate regional development. Of the two public selection processes for recruitment to the Company made this year, all positions were designed to Pernambuco. The number of jobs created in construction of petrochemical plants also puts the state in the first place: about 90% of workers are from Pernambuco state. The Ipojucan occupy 13% of jobs.
