To know its responsibility as an integrating part of the community where it operates is one of the main concerns of PetroquímicaSuape. Due to its consciousness that only a well-structured society is capable of generating economic growth.

PetroquímicaSuape is going to adopt the most rigorous standards of security and environmental control, besides acting mutually with public and private authorities aiming to generate the socio economical growth of the region, insofar as reflecting the commitment of this company and its shareholders with sustainable growth.

In the social area, it is going to promote professional instruction as well as the preparation of local suppliers in cooperation with local teaching institutions, socio economical representatives and Programa de Mobilização da Indústria Nacional de Petróleo (PROMINP).

The Company is developing its project according to the best practices to ensure the quality of the air, reuse of water, the treatment of water sources and reduction of noise. The whole process is going to count with the support of universities and Petrobras’ Research Center (CENPES).
