Technology

Aiming to ensure maximum productivity, minimize the natural source exploitation and to raise the reliability in its production process, PetroquímicaSuape has chosen advanced technology for all its production units.
The PTA unity has adopted the Invista Performance Technologies (www.invista.com), which is currently preferred by most PTA manufacturers worldwide. From the last ten PTA plants built, eight have chosen Invista technology.
The production of polymers and textile filaments will count with the technology of Lurgi (www.lurgi.com) and TMT (www.tmt-mc.jp/index.html), two companies recognized in the world market in as reference suppliers for Polyester textile filament and polymers.
The PET resin plant will run Lurgi technology - which also provide the technology of textile plant - and Bühler technology (www.buhlergroup.com), a Swiss company that holds 75% of the global SSP (solid-state Polycondensation) market share.

The acquisition of the same technology for the production of textile and packaging polymers will result in significant economic gains during the design, operation and maintenance of the plants.
